Colca Canyon and Titicaca Tour 02 Days

Depart from Arequipa and ends in Puno
This Tour begins early with pickup from your Hotel in Arequipa and travel to the town of Chivay where breakfast awaits. Then continue the trip through the Colca Valley and reach the Cruz del Cóndor viewpoint where you can admire the landscape of the Canyon and later visit typical towns en route.
In the afternoon the trip continues to the city of Puno, arriving at approximately 7.30pm.
The next day the Tour of Lake Titicaca takes place, visiting the islands of the Uros natives that are built with reeds called Totora and then continue the trip to the largest lake and visit the Taquile island inhabited by Quechua natives and in the afternoon return to Puno .
ITINERARY
Day 01: Arequipa – Colca Tour – Puno
3:00am to 3:30am pick up from your Hotel in Arequipa, to begin the bus trip to the Colca Valley.
After a 3 and a half hour trip we arrived at the town of Chivay.
Breakfast in Chivay and continue the trip for 2 hours to the Cruz del Cóndor viewpoint. Free time to admire the natural beauty of the Canyon and observe the flight of the Condors.
Later we boarded our return transportation to Chivay, making stops along the way in towns such as: Pinchollo (Mirador de Wayrapunko), Mirador de Antahuilque, town of Maca and Yanque. Then we have free time to have lunch and/or visit the thermal baths.
1.00pm the trip continues from Chivay to Puno making visits and stops at: Patapampa or Mirador de los Andes, Salinas and Aguada Blanca National Reserve, habitat of species such as the Llama, Alpaca, Guanaco and especially the Vicuña. Arrival in the city of Puno at 7:30pm. (Hotel on own account)
Day 02: Puno – Titicaca Uros and Taquile islands
7:00 am pick up from your Hotel in Puno and transfer to the port of Puno, to board the motor boat and travel to the Uros Islands and find the natives who live on these floating islands. Optional: opportunity to take a ride on reed rafts (extra payment to natives).
Then the trip continues to Lake Maggiore to visit Taquile Island, taking a walk along stone paths that lead to the village where we find the natives who are dedicated to the art of weaving. At noon lunch is offered at a local restaurant. Later we continued the walk around the island admiring the landscape of Lake Titicaca.
In the afternoon the return to Puno begins, arriving at 4:00pm and transfer to the city center.
