This Trekking Tour is recommended for people who want to stay longer and get to know the towns located in the Colca Canyon in detail. Taking a walk at a moderate pace: The first day the walk is 3 hours – The second day is 4 hours and the last day is 3 hours, along the route there will be descent paths, flat terrain and ascents.
ITINERARY:
Day 01: Arequipa – Cruz del Cóndor – Cabanaconde – Chuccho.
3:00am. Pick up from your Hotel and transportation to the town of Chivay (3 hours of travel)
6:30am Breakfast, Then we continue the trip (02 Hours) to visit La Cruz del Cóndor where we will appreciate the flight of the condors over the Colca Canyon (Strategic viewpoint to observe the canyon in all its splendor).
Then we continue the trip (30 min) towards the town of Cabanaconde.
10:30am we arrive at the San Miguel viewpoint where we begin the hike down to the canyon (03 hours)
1:00pm we arrive at the first suspension bridge, where we rest and then continue walking (10 min) to reach the community of San Juan de Chuccho, where the guide organizes food and accommodation in the bungalow-type houses of the natives. of the Place.
Day 02: Chuccho – Cosñirhua – Sangalle.

Day 03: Sangalle – Cabanaconde – Chivay – Arequipa.
Early 5:00am Start of the ascent walk towards the town of Cabanaconde (approx. 3 hours)
8:30am arrival and breakfast in Cabanaconde. Then we board our Transportation to Chivay, making tourist stops in traditional towns of Maca, Achoma, Yanque and the natural viewpoints to appreciate the pre-Inca terraces of the valley, among others.
12:30pm arrival to Chivay Town
Optional: Visit to the hot springs of in Chivay, which reaches a temperature of 38°C.
Afternoon return transportation by Tourist Bus to the city of Arequipa. On the way we will ascend to 4910 meters above sea level, making stops at a viewpoint of the volcanoes and the National Reserve, which are the natural habitat of South American camelids and birds. 6:00pm Approximate arrival in Arequipa.
